NBA YouTube: Lead Social/Creative Strategist 

Playlists Centered Around Cultural Events/Big Moments

I decided to create "The Jordan Vault" in the weeks leading up to the ESPN docuseries "The Last Dance" by digging into the archives to discover all the MJ videos the NBA has ever posted. I collaborated with designers to update thumbnail covers so we could get max value viewership of each video and then built out a content plan to promote these videos in the YouTube Community section make a self on the front page.

In the case of the Vince Carter playlist, someone that has given so much to the game, it was important to pay homage to a great player and true professional on the day he announced his retirement from the NBA.

Customized Specialty Graphics For YouTube

I am blessed to be able to collaborate with some of the best graphic designers in the entire world. With the "Jordan Mixtape" graphic above, I collaborated with Ethan Johnston on the creative that I saw would best represent the ultimate Jordan Mixtape and he went to work and created one of my favorite graphics of all-time!

In the midst of 2020 as we all know now, the NBA season had to stop play for a few months. During this time we had the opportunity think extra creatively on how to keep viewers engaged without live hoops. Working with incredible colleagues we came up with the YouTube series "Postseason Heroics" that coincided with the time of year the NBA Playoffs usually occur. I immediately knew Ethan Johnston and I could make a dope creative for this video idea. Ethan and I collaborated on the creative for this graphic above and he again came through with a truly unique and eye catching graphic.
